The fundraising committee for the new Grand Junction Community Center is looking in every nook and cranny for the last $30,000 needed to secure the $225,000 Vision Iowa grant. Here volunteers are removing the metal ceiling from the old building, not looking for stashed dollars, but because the vintage ceiling has been sold for repurposing.
